About the Speaker
Media Pioneer & Storyteller: Began her career at PTV in 1974, producing groundbreaking children’s programs like Rung Barung (1981), followed by critically acclaimed serials such as Marvi (1993).
Founder of Hum Network: In 2004, she launched Eye Television Network (now Hum), a media powerhouse acclaimed in South Asia, and has guided Hum TV to several Lux Style Awards wins.
Champion of Social Causes: Executive producer of Zindagi Gulzar Hai (2012–13)—a cultural sensation that resonated across borders—and other socially impactful dramas like Udaari, addressing pressing issues sensitively.
