Nazneen provides strategic leadership to Jones Lang LaSalle’s HR functions, serving over 35,000 employees in 60 countries worldwide. She has over twenty-five years’ experience leading HR organizations at national and global firms such as Comdisco, Inc. and CNA Insurance Companies.

Nazneen earned a Ph.D. in Organizational Development and an M.B.A. from Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois, where she also served as adjunct faculty for the M.B.A. programs.  She holds a Masters degree in English Literature from Osmania University in India.

Nazneen served as chairman of the board of HRMAC and was on the advisory board of Menttium. She currently serves on the Board of Chicago Sinfonietta and on AON Consulting's Employer Advisory Board.

With 17 years of experience in the industry Ela’s expertise includes trade, educational, and value publishing. Prior to NGSP, Ela developed a successful freelance business as an editor, writer, and project manager. During those years, she served as a developmental editor for the best-selling book There Must Be More Than This by Judith Wright, managed and edited an online ezine with a circulation of more than 40,000, reviewed manuscript for a major trade publisher, and worked on national educational projects such as the Jamestown Reading Navigator, Scott Foresman K-5 social studies programs, McDougal-Littel’s middle school science program, and McGraw-Hill Glencoe’ s high school language arts programs.
 
Ela has worked as an acquisitions editor for McGraw-Hill Trade and, prior to that, as the Director of Product Development for SkyLight Professional Development (now Pearson Achievement), producing professional development products for K-12 teachers. Ela has a passionate commitment to education, animal welfare, women’s studies, and personal growth and development.

She is the president of the PAWS Chicago Professional Board and a leader in the Society of Femininity in Action (SOFIA) organization and Women’s Leadership Training, both programs of the Wright Leadership Institute.

 

Dr Rabia BhattiDr. Rabia Bhatti

Dr. Rabia Bhatti MD is a board certified General Surgeon. She specializes in Breast Surgery and is the Director of the Breast Center at Our Lady of Resurrection Hospital. Dr. Bhatti graduated in 1988 from Aga Khan University Medical College, in the first graduating class. She conducted research at St.Mary's Hospital in London and Loyola University before starting her residency in General Surgery at University of Illinois Metropolitan Group Hospitals. She has been in practice for 11 yrs and is a partner  in a four person surgical group practice at The Suburban Surgery Center.

She has been actively involved in teaching and is voluntary faculty for Loyola University Medical Center. She has appeared on TV and radio where she has talked about breast cancer. She is passionate about breast cancer education and regularly giving lectures on breast cancer at hospitals.

 

Faheen Allibhoy

Faheen has worked at IFC for a total of 8 years making debt and equity investments in infrastructure and manufacturing companies in the emerging markets.  Her transaction experience is global with a focus on Turkey, Russia and China.  In the past two years, she has also focused on transactions in the solar PV manufacturing supply chain. 

Prior to IFC, Ms. Allibhoy worked at Merrill Lynch in New York in the Financial Institutions Group in Investment Banking.  She has a BA from Wellesley College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Ayesha Akhtar entered the corporate world after graduating from Loyola University Chicago with a degree in Accounting.  She worked in what is now the Big 4 in both corporate and entrepreneurial taxes for five years - literally to the day she found out she was expecting her first child and decided to focus on her new phase of life. Ayesha continued her tax work by creating a private tax practice at home with a modest list of clients. After dabbling in some social service organizations, she changed careers and began a master’s degree in Public Health Administration.

In 2008 Ayesha founded Mosaic Soap Bakery. This at-home entrepreneurial venture of hand-crafting soap was born from a passion to work with her hands. Ayesha's soaps have shipped as far as Pakistan, and are a local favorite in a couple shops in Oak Park. 

Ayesha lives in Forest Park, IL with her husband of eleven years and two sons, ages six and four.

Alia FaizAlia Faiz

Alia Faiz is a seasoned Management and Technology Consultant with expertise in Business Processes Re-engineering, Business Strategy and Roadmap Development, Program/Portfolio Management and Technology Risk Management working for Big 5 consulting corporations like KPMG LLP. Over the past decade, she has played an instrumental role in defining and establishing Solution Delivery Methodologies and forming Strategic Vendor and Service Provider alliances with multimillion-dollar budget responsibilities for Fortune 100 companies including AT&T, Texas Instruments, Citigroup & Alcatel.

Currently heading a boutique start-up consulting outfit in Dallas, Alia volunteers her spare time as an advisor to the ‘Jarvis Christian College Call Center Project’ that focuses on providing on-campus employment and training opportunities to the African American community in Hawkins Texas, and Touchstone Communications, a 300 people call center operation in Pakistan. She also played an instrumental role in helping establish ‘The Charlie Wilson Chair’ in Pakistan Studies at the University of Texas at Austin. This is the first ever alumni chair in Pakistan Studies at any US college or university that boasts the number one nationwide program on South Asia.

Alia holds a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering as well as an MBA in MIS from University of Texas at Dallas. Her numerous certifications include CMMI from Carnegie Mellon University, PMP from the Project Management Institute (PMI), and Scrum Master Certifications.  She has spoken at multiple local and international PMI events and is actively engaged with the DFW chapter of Agile Project Management Leadership Network.
