The Organization of Pakistani Entrepreneurs (“OPEN”) is a voluntary, not-for profit organization dedicated to the promotion of entrepreneurship in the Pakistani-American business community. Established in Boston in 1998, OPEN has chapters in Boston, Houston, New York, Silicon Valley, and Washington DC.
The primary goals of OPEN Chicago Chapter are:
- Raise the profile of the Chicago area Pakistani entrepreneurial and professional community and foster entrepreneurship and collaboration.
- Connect members across the business ecosystem with business luminaries, technical experts, partners, customers, mentors, financiers (banks, private equity and venture capital) and collaborators.
- Provide guidance on entrepreneurship in association with regional academic centers.
- Offer mentoring services and facilitation for start-ups and small businesses in finding relevant services and capital.
